When The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom comes out on September 26th, it will be the first Zelda game for decades with the titular princess as the heroine. Nintendo has released a new trailer showcasing some of the new powers she'll have and all the places she'll be able to use them.
Princess Zelda will be able to explore all of Hyrule in Echoes of WisdomShe will traverse the hostile landscapes of the Gerudo desert, the soothing waters of Jabul, the jungles of the Faron swamps and the burning lava plates of the Eldin volcano. And to move around the vast world of Hyrule, Zelda will be able to summon a faithful steed at her side, just like Link.
Zelda has a few new powers that will aid her in her quest to save Hyrule from the dangerous rifts that threaten to consume the land. In addition to being able to summon copies of creatures or objects called Echoes, she will also be able to bind or reverse objects. With the Binding power, Zelda will bind an object to her movement, allowing her to push giant obstacles or enemies out of her way. For the Reverse Binding power, Zelda herself will move with the object, helping her cross large gaps or scale high cliffs.
