Uber said in 2022 it will add new travel booking options in the UK as part of a strategic initiative to become a super app and one-stop shop for domestic and international travel.
With the UK serving as Uber's pilot site, the mobility company added options for booking flights, train tickets, hotel rooms and car rentals, as well as taxi, bike, boat and scooter services. These mobility options joined Uber's existing offerings of ridesharing and food delivery.
