Travel + Leisure has released its annual list of the best travel destinations around the world, with 50 sites selected by its staff for different types of travelers. “These are places that feel like they're in the spirit of the times, whether it's because they offer unparalleled access to the outdoors, a cultural immersion you can't find anywhere else, a dose of “heart-pounding excitement or the kind of wonderful luxury that only a true five-star property can deliver,” says Alisha Prakash, associate editorial director at Travel + Leisure.
