You can still enjoy a vacation on a budgetbut that can mean you end up frequenting the same destinations every year.
This doesn't necessarily have to be the case, however, because as one budget travel enthusiast shared, there are three destinations you could try if you've had enough of Spain, Portugal, and Greece.
@emsudgettravel captioned her video: “Less popular, cheaper holiday destinations – get off the beaten track for your next trip with these hidden gems.”
She said they are “good” value destinations,” joking that she “wanted to be the number one goalie” because it's so amazing. Em said it was her “favorite country“she has already gone”.
“I would say it’s a bit like Croatia but with fewer people and cheaper.
“It’s a perfect combination of stunning scenery, lots of beaches and islands, but also mountains. It’s the clearest, bluest water I’ve ever seen and great value for money accommodation,” she exclaimed.
She said it was “small” so “easy to get around”, and flights started at just £35 return.
So where is he? Em loves Montenegro, in the Balkans.
The second recommendation she made was “a country with incredible landscapes, beautiful mountains and lots of history.”
She said the people are friendly, there's plenty to do and some of the best brunch she's ever had, and you can fly there from £80 return.
It was Armenia that she recommended, “more precisely Yerevan, the capital.”
Last but not least, if you're “looking for a budget weekend getaway,” she said this city would be “perfect.”
“There’s a really charming old town, delicious food and lots of really cute cafes,” Em revealed: “Plus an impressive castle with great views, and you can fly there from £28 return.”
Where is it? Bratislava in Slovakia.
In the comments, someone wrote: “Montenegro is without a doubt the best summer destination in Europe.”
“Come to Albania, the prices are good and there are beautiful places to visit,” wrote one local.
“Bratislava and Montenegro. My two favorite places in one video wow,” shared one TikToker.
