Travelling between two of the world's busiest airports just got easier.
Frontier Airlinesa Denver-based low-cost carrier, recently announced new service connecting New York John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). To celebrate the new service, the airline is selling discounted tickets for just $29.
The new daily service will begin on August 13, 2024, just in time for the peak late-summer travel season and the upcoming holiday period. previously announced new daily service from JFK to Las Vegas, which will also begin August 13.
“We are excited to announce this new service at JFK, offering consumers in the region affordable and convenient travel to Atlanta and beyond,” Josh Flyr, Frontier Airlines vice president of network design and operations, said in a statement. Travel + Leisure.
The previously announced $29 Atlanta promotional fare and $89 Vegas sale must both be purchased by 11:59 PM EST on July 3, 2024 to receive the savings. There are also restrictions on the days that travelers can fly, so it's important to check the terms and conditions before purchasing.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the world's busiest airport. More than 104 million passengers passed through the airport in 2023, an 11% increase from 2022, according to airport data.
The airport is a major hub for Delta Air Lines, and nearly every airline flies there, including Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Avelo, Southwest, and United. The airport itself has become a popular destination as it is home to a variety of shops and restaurants, including Brooks Brothers, Kiehl's, MAC, Samuel Adams, SPANX, and many more.
New York's John F. Kennedy Airport has also been modernizing its facilities for its customers. Delta Air Lines recently opened a brand new Delta One Loungeand Chase recently opened a Sapphire Lounge.
