School's out for summer, so let's party! The adventure begins on Thursday, June 6 as Mr. Bond and his scientists kick off a big summer of reading on the opening day of the DeKalb County Libraries' 2024 Summer Reading Program for the Justin Potter and Alexandria Libraries. The fun starts at 2 p.m. in the DeKalb County Complex Theater Room.
Mr. Bond's Science Guys will offer young people an incredible interactive and educational show. Children of all ages can now sign up for summer reading at both libraries. Each child who registers and meets their goal will receive a certificate of participation and other gifts at the end of the summer reading program. Program participation is not required to participate.
The four-week summer reading program takes place every Thursday at 2 p.m. through June 27 in the DeKalb County Complex Theater Room.
