To make your trip a little more relaxing, consider avoiding the following airports, rated as the most stressful in the world.
What is the most stressful airport in the world?
A study published in December by visa advice website VisaGuide.World ranked the world's most stressful airports.
The survey questioned 1,642 air passengers from 53 different nationalities who made at least two international air trips in 2023.
They were asked which aspects of air travel stressed them the most. These were high passenger numbers, large airports often difficult to navigate due to their size, crowded airports, frequency of flights. Flight delays and distance from the city center.
With these concerns in mind, VisaGuide.World ranked airports using five factors: total number of passengers, airport size in square meters, passenger density per square meter, share of annual delays and distance from city center in kilometers.
London Gatwick is the most stressful airport in the world
London Gatwick, the second largest in the United Kingdom airporthas proven to be the most stressful airport in the world.
