KTM continues to roll out its 2025 machines, with the 890 Adventure R returning for more action next year. Reading the press release below, it appears there are no real changes to the machine for 2025, except for this connectivity unit, allowing your smartphone to “talk” with the bike . Previously, it was just an optional add-on.
The big news many riders will like to hear has nothing to do with the hard parts of the bike: it's the two-year extended warranty that is now standard.

The nameplate of the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R is well known, and for good reason. Off-road excellence and next-level capabilities have made it the go-to machine for hardcore adventure riders.
Taking inspiration from the Dakar-winning KTM 450 RALLY, the 2025 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R's WP suspension package features proven hardware at each end, with a 48mm WP XPLOR fork and WP XPLOR PDS rear shock making the work.
Aesthetically, the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R also builds on its stablemate KTM 450 RALLY, with a low windshield, high front wing, rally-style bodywork and reinforced body protection. Rider comfort hasn't been forgotten, however, with the off-road-focused one-piece seat emphasizing mobility and grip, plus a revitalized graphics package for 2025 complementing its appearance.
The 2025 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R may have new graphics, but retains and improves its proven hardware underneath. For 2025, the Connectivity Unit is included as standard to enable connection between the KTMconnect app and the TFT via Bluetooth for Turn-by-Turn+ navigation, music and incoming calls.
Venture out with even more confidence thanks to an expanded manufacturer warranty, which is doubled for the 2025 model year, from 12 months to 24 months of coverage.
