YORK COUNTY, Pennsylvania (WHP) — A hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian unconscious is being investigated by Northern York Regional Police.
Police say that around 8:02 p.m. on September 1, officers responded to the scene at Manheim Adventure Park following reports of a pedestrian being struck.
The victim told police she was struck by a vehicle after trying to stop two vans from doing donuts in the park parking lot. After one vehicle drove away from the scene, the other van allegedly struck the victim as she tried to exit the park, leaving her unconscious.
Authorities say the victim became alert once emergency medical services arrived and was later transported to Wellspan York Hospital for treatment for a serious head injury.
Investigators say one of the vans was grey and the other was black. Anyone with information on the drivers of these vehicles is encouraged to contact Northern York Regional Police at 717-467-8355.
