The Pacific Tourism Organization (SPTO) is pleased to announce that on the 9thth The South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) will be held at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa in Nadi, Fiji from 9-10 May 2025.
The event will follow other major regional trade events including the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) 2025, from 28 April to 1 May, and TRENZ 2025, scheduled for 6-8 May.
This announcement follows the success of SPTE 2024 which was held at the Sheraton Fiji Resort & Spa on Denarau Island.
SPTO CEO Christopher Cocker expressed his excitement for the upcoming event, highlighting the organisation’s dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation in the Pacific tourism sector.
“We are delighted to host the event at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa in Nadi, Fiji, a venue that truly captures the essence of Pacific warmth and hospitality.
“Our goal is to create an exceptional experience for our members and stakeholders, one that fosters meaningful connections and sustainable growth across the region,” Cocker said.
As the flagship event of the SPTO, SPTE serves as a crucial platform for tourism operators, wholesalers and stakeholders to engage, collaborate and showcase the diverse offerings of the Pacific Islands.
“We are delighted to host the 2025 event in Fiji and look forward to another successful event.
While Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has been confirmed as the event venue, we continue to ensure all logistical details are perfectly aligned to deliver the best experience for our attendees,” added Mr Cocker.
SPTE offers a unique opportunity for tourism industry stakeholders to come together and explore new avenues for collaboration and growth.
This will be the 9th edition of SPTE and the second time the event will be held in Fiji after seven successful years in Australia and New Zealand.
As preparations for SPTE 2025 are underway, stakeholders can expect resources on the event website to facilitate their participation.
This landmark event promises to bring positive change within the tourism industry, setting new standards of excellence and collaboration across the region.
Over the next few months, SPTO will be updating the SPTE website with many resources for partners interested in participating in the event.
