When Deadly Kombat 1 released last year, it gave the fighting franchise a complete reboot with new statuses for its characters. By the time the credits rolled, story modeIt was clear that NetherRealm was going to do as the comics did and delve into multiversal madness for the foreseeable future. And like other stories focused on alternative realitiesall this leads to a series of bloody battles.
During the game's panel at San Diego Comic-Con, NetherRealm revealed the upcoming Khaos reigns extension. As for the plot, it takes place some time after MK1 The story follows an evil Titan version of Havik threatening the new main universe that holds Liu Kang and company. Aiding the group against Titan Havik are new versions of Cyrax (Enuka Onuma) and Sektor (Erika Ishii), here reimagined as human women wearing armor similar to their original cyborg ninja designs. But this Havik has an ace up his sleeve in Bi-Han (Kaiji Tang), who has had his soul transformed into Noob Saibot. Consequences extension for Mortal Kombat 11 set up the story for MK1, so you can probably bet on some Khaos is also making great strides.
In addition to these three, three guest stars will join us. Mortal Kombat 1 list. If you've ever wanted to cut MK characters into Ghostface from Shout, the T-1000 of Terminator 2, or Conan the Barbarian, here's your chance. Roger Jackson and Robert Patrick are both rumored to be reprising their roles as Ghostface and the T-1000, while Conan's voice actor has yet to be revealed. It'll be interesting to see who's behind Ghostface, especially given the franchise's often outlandish and non-canonical endings.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns will launch on September 24, either as a standalone game or bundled with the base game and first DLC pack.
