Mitas has not specified what longevity can be expected from the Enduro Trail-XT but, despite its off-road focus, the company says the new tire is rated M+S (mud and snow tire) with a speed rating of up to 'to T. (118 mph) and is designed to provide long-lasting durability with easy handling and high stability on tarmac transfer sections.
The Mitas Enduro Trail XT will launch in June 2024 in two different versions: a standard version using a Heavy Duty compound designed to provide the best overall performance in wet or dry conditions; Plus a Dakar version using an Ultra Heavy Duty compound designed for maximum durability with up to 20% more mileage compared to the standard version. According to Mitas, the Dakar version is almost puncture-proof thanks to its reinforced carcass.
Pricing for the standard and Dakar versions starts at $159.99 and $179.99, respectively. For more information, visit mitas-moto.com.
