In local travel news, Pest Gnome released its annual list of the 500 Worst Cities for Bed Bugs, and eight Minnesota cities made the list.
No matter where you travel, you should always look out for these blood-sucking parasites. Start by checking the sheets for signs such as blood stains, tiny pale yellow eggs or eggshells, and small black bed bug droppings that look like tiny dots. These annoying pests can also hide in chairs, sofa seams, between cushions and in the folds of curtains.
