Miami International Airport expects to 1.1 million passengers from Monday July 1 to Monday July 8, 7% more than the record figures of July 4th week last year.
Parking at MIA may be limited from today through Saturday, so travelers are encouraged to consider other options for getting to MIAsuch as carpooling services, taxispublic transport, walks with family or friends, or off-airport parking spaces.
Some flights are delayed or cancelled due to Hurricane Beryl, so travelers should confirm their flight status before coming to MIA if they must make other arrangements from home or hotel.
Additional Travel Tips for July 4thth the weekend are:
Car park:
· Half price parking is available in remote areas of the MIA Economical park and ride. Valet Car park is located directly across from the MIA check-in area, at Gate 2 and Gate 20 in the Dolphin and Flamingo garages.
· The missing Mobile phone parkingwhich offers 60 free parking spaces to non-commercial users waiting to pick up passengers, is located just off LeJeune Road and NW 31st Street, accessible from LeJeune Road heading north or south.
Registration:
· Arrive at MIA three hours before your flight to give yourself plenty of time for parking, airline check-in and the security screening process.
· Complete the airline's online check-in before arriving at MIA.
· If your flight is delayed, please be patient with airline employees as they work to reschedule your flight and stay in contact with your airline for flight updates.

TSA Control
