Remember last month when I told you about the newly upgraded Marin Four Corners 1? Utility bikes? Well today, Petaluma, California Marine bikes bring back his new one Four corners 2 Adventure Touring Bike after seven years of hibernation. The Four Corners 2 is a step up from the Four Corners 1, so let's look at the improved version.
The four corners of Marin 2
Well, first of all, this top model has been out of circulation for 7 years. It's aimed at the most demanding riders with the Series 3's premium double-butted CroMo frame and fork with front and rear thru-axles.
It also features a SRAM Apex 1×12-speed drivetrain, hydraulic mounts, and tubeless-compatible rims and tires.
The geometry of the Four Corners 2 is said to follow in the footsteps of the Four Corners 1. But the HTA 70°-71° (depending on size) is a bit more progressive than a typical touring bike.
The seat tubes are routed and ready for dropper posts if that's your thing. The handlebars are also wider, from 440 to 460 mm. Both wheel sizes of the Four Corners 2 (650b for XS and S/700c for M, L, XL) ride on 44mm wide tires but have frame clearance of up to 50mm.
