The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend, the award-winning VR adventure with Lucy Liu (Charlie's Angels, Kill Bill), launched today on Quest and SteamVR headsets.
Created by a UK based company Singer StudiosVR narrative adventure is inspired by real events, following the rise of “Pirate Queen” Cheng Shih to lead the Red Flag Fleet, which in the 19th century took on great powers at sea of southern China such as the East India Company, the Portuguese Empire and the Qing dynasty.
Ahead of today's launch, The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend won both the Storyscapes Award at Tribeca 2023 and the Discovery Award for Best Debut at the Raindance Film Festival in 2021.
