Leatt is launching its first adventure helmets in mid-December which will be sold as a kit with its 4.5 Velocity goggles and a Pinlock 120 XLT insert.
The first offerings are the 9.5 Carbon (pictured) and 8.5 helmets, which come with two face shields, one photochromic and the other transparent. ADV helmets are made with anti-rotation technology, which reduces impact forces and harmful brain rotational accelerations.
Leatt announced that the helmet will be sold as a kit, a unique offering that meets all adventurers' needs right out of the box. In addition to the helmet itself, the kit includes a photochromic visor using the latest UV technology, as well as an additional transparent visor. The Pinlock® 120 XLT ensures fog-free visibility and the 4.5 Velocity Bulletproof Goggles are perfect for off-road trail riding and are all included in the kit.
The Leatt ADV 9.5 Carbon and 8.5 Adventure helmets are both ECE 22.06 and DOT certified. These are also two of the few premium helmets on the market with additional anti-rotation technology, increasing rider safety by reducing impact forces and rotational acceleration of the brain.
Pricing for the ADV headset is $799 for the 9.5 Carbon and $599 for the 8.5 Composite. The headset is expected to hit the market from mid-December.
