When it comes to trying new things, there’s no substitute for hearing from people who’ve actually been there. So Rachelle and Tony Wright, Kentucky-based travel and social media experts, came up with the idea of creating a website that features travel diaries of real trips taken by real, everyday people.
Roadtripzee features more than 40 newspapers from popular destinations including Walt Disney World, Acadia National Park and the San Francisco Bay Area.
“Humans crave shared experiences and Roadtripzee taps into that psychology. Our community loves to share first-hand travel information with others,” says Rachelle Wright. “Our team is made up of people who love to travel, love to write, and love to tell a story. Their journals, photos, and videos resonate with our community because they are real travel stories, captured and told.”
The Wrights created Roadtripzee in 2022 as a platform to build on the success of their KentuckyRoadTrips.comKentuckyRoadTrips reaches over a million users per month through the web platform, newsletter, and an incredibly active Facebook group with 135,000 members.
“Facebook groups have become lively forums where road-trippers can share information with each other,” says Tony Wright.
