One of Michigan's crown jewels was just named the nation's #1 summer travel destination.
USA Today published its 2024 List of Best Summer Travel Places across the country, and for the second year in a row, a Michigan location took the top spot: Mackinac Island.
Mackinac Island is one of the most popular travel spots in the state, but many out-of-state travelers also visit this charming, historic island.
