In 2024, this includes otherworldly art and design, such as in China Aranya; active travel, such as Natural Selection Guided Bike Safari in Botswana; learning more about the communities and regions we travel to, such as Antarctica White Desert, Maui Cultural Lands in Hawaii, and Kamba in the Republic of Congo; and get to know us better, like in New Mexico Academy of Modern Ancients.
To compile the 2024 list, TIME solicited nominations of places—including hotels, cruises, restaurants, attractions, museums, parks and more—from its global network of correspondents and contributors, as well as through an application process, with a focus on those that offer new and exciting experiences. last year's list After featuring 50 cities, this year we decided to explore even more – and more specifically – establishments that stand out in their field and in the world. The result: 100 extraordinary destinations to visit and stay in this year.
