Luckily, Dragon Ball Super ended with the Tournament of Power arc, which was certainly exciting to say the least. The conclusion of this arc greatly disappointed fans, not because it was disappointing, but because it meant that there was no more Dragon Ball content for quite a while. When it comes to movies, Dragon Ball released another movie called Super Heroes, and while it wasn't as exciting as Broly, it was definitely an interesting watch for fans. Initially, Dragon Ball Daima was supposed to be a TV anime-only thing, which meant that no contributions from Toriyama were going to be made to the series.

However, later Toriyama made his contribution and eventually, he got so involved in the project that now, he can be said to play a major role in the production of the Daima series. Everything from the character designs to the storyline was contributed by Toriyama himself, making the series as special as it is.
