After receiving an “overwhelming response” to its Expression of Interest (EOI), Luxury Escapes has officially launched its Agent Hub.
Revealed to the travel industry by Karryon in January, the new Agent Hub marks Luxury Escapes’ official entry into the wholesale market.
Although the travel agency has already concluded several agreements with agency groups in Australia and New Zealand, the launch of Agent Hub significantly expands its previous “soft” b2b offering.
The main features of the new service include:
- Exclusive offers and add-ons for the experiences that agents can pass on to their customers
- Streamlined booking processes where agents can access a personalized dashboard to efficiently manage bookings
- Commissionable product offering a range of commission levels available on most product sectors
- Industrial expertise and access to Luxury Escapes’ vast network of connections
In addition to this, Luxury Escapes revealed several agent incentives, including bonus commissions, bonus LE credits and families. Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, Luxury Escapes invites all travel advisors to register their interest and sign up to use Agent Hub on https://agents.luxuryescapes.com/au.
The company said more than 2,000 travel agents responded during an EOI phase for the hub – which it said marks a significant milestone in its commitment to “revolutionize the travel industry”.
For the launch, Luxury Escapes has partnered with some of Australia's largest agency groups, including itravel, Savenio and the Australian Travel Agents Co-operative (ATAC), among others.
“We are thrilled to have Agent Hub live and our agent partners (are) now able to use (the) powerful tool to enhance their offerings and streamline their operations,” said Adam Schwab, co-founder and CEO of Luxury Escapes.
“The response we received during the EOI phase demonstrates the demand for a platform that facilitates collaboration between Luxury Escapes and the trade.”
Josh Gordon, head of sales at itravel, said: “Our partnership with Luxury Escapes offers our itravel agent network an additional range of holiday packages, complementing our current range of preferred suppliers and in-house wholesale services.”
In Agent Hub announcement in January, Karryon spoke exclusively with Chris Brandon, Luxury Escapes' Senior Director of Agency Distribution, about the platform and what it means for the travel industry.
Last year, the premium travel platform also launched a dedicated cruise platform. Learn more about this here.
After surveying almost 4,000 Australians, LE released its annual “Travel Trends” report in December, revealing some of the country's outlook on travel in 2024 and the destinations, experiences and ambitions defining the year ahead.
