The construction of this temple began in the 6th century BC by the Athenian rulers. The largest temple in Greece opens daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is dedicated to Zeus, the king of the gods.
4. Olympic Stadium
Built in the 1980s, the Olympic Stadium was built for the European Athletics Championships. It definitely deserves a place on your must-visit list as it is the largest stadium in Greece with 70,000 seats.

One of the most breathtaking places in Greece is Meteora, a monastery surrounded by imposing cliffs. It is basically a rock formation located in the Trikala regional unit in northwestern Greece.
