The Madelon Festival
Every summer, the village's most iconic festival takes place in the heart of the traditional village of Courchevel Le Praz. Visitors can enjoy the weekend's festivities and discover the customs and traditions of the previous century. Artisans and producers sell local products by the lake and in the village's alleys. The highlight is the preparation of the popular Madelon soup, a symbol of this tradition, in a 600-litre cauldron where the ingredients simmer for many hours in front of the Sainte Marie-Madeleine chapel.
Björka X3 Courchevel Triathlon

A unique triathlon in the world, the TRIATHLON BJÖRKA X3 Courchevel promises a demanding and thrilling experience. The event begins with a 6,000-meter rowing race on outdoor ergometers in front of the Olympic ski jumps of Courchevel Le Praz at 10:30 am. This is followed by a 12.2 km bike race with a positive elevation gain of 750 meters to the Courchevel altiport, located at an altitude of 2,006 meters. The final segment is a 9.6 km trail race with a positive elevation gain of 550 meters, which ends with a sprint on the airstrip with Mont Blanc as a backdrop.
Amateur Theatre Festival
Date: July 21, 2024
For 10 years, Courchevel has been putting actors in the spotlight at the amateur theatre festival “Les 3 Coups” in Courchevel La Tania. For six days, ten professional and amateur troupes will present two free shows per day, one in the late afternoon and one in the evening. The shows compete for the Audience Award and the Jury's Favourite.
Courchevel Symphony of Light

SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP
Date: July 31, 2024
This unmissable event has become an institution in Courchevel Le Praz. For 30 years, the resort has welcomed the best ski jumping athletes in the world every summer. More than a hundred competitors from around fifteen different countries will compete on the 120-metre jump that was used for the 1992 Winter Olympics and will be used again in 2030. Spectators will also be able to enjoy acrobatic demonstrations that complete the show.
COURCHEVEL WHITE EVENING

In Courchevel, white is the favourite colour, whatever the season. Courchevel Le Praz will host the second Soirée Blanche on 23rd August. From 5pm, dressed all in white, visitors will be able to stroll between the stands, enjoy refreshments and watch the artists perform before the 8pm concert followed by a DJ set.
THE CYCLING EVENT
Date: August 23, 2024
For three days, Courchevel will be showcasing all forms of mountain biking, from street biking to e-bikes, from endurance to cross-country. Enthusiasts will be able to spend the weekend testing out the best spots with a programme including street biking in Courchevel Le Praz, an endurance race from La Saulire, a mountain bike and e-bike “Renduro” race and a women's event.
