Delta has resumed some flights after a technical issue at a supplier impacted several airlines and businesses around the world. The issue required a pause in Delta's global flight schedule this morning while it was resolved.
Further delays and cancellations are expected on Friday.
Delta has issued a travel exemption for all customers booked on flights departing on Friday, July 19. It allows customers to self-manage their travel changes through delta.com and the Fly Delta app.
The fare difference for customers will be waived when travel is rescheduled on or before July 24, in the same service cabin as originally booked. If travel is rescheduled after July 24, any fare difference between the original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of booking.
Customers can track and manage their itineraries on Delta.com or the Fly Delta app.
