EXCLUSIVE: Cinema agent Bryan Diperstein leaves CAA join a management and production company with a literary vocation Adventure media as a partner.
Diperstein is expected to continue representing many of his existing clients in his new managerial role and help further grow Adventure's sports and broadcast representation business. From the agency's perspective, its clients should all stay with CAA.
The move reunites Diperstein with Adventure Media founding partners Chris von Goetz and James Robins Early as well as fellow Adventure Media partner Melissa Orton-Cortez. All four were ICM agents. Von Goetz and Robins Early left on the eve of CAA's takeover of the agency in 2022 to launch Adventure while Orton-Cortez and Diperstein transitioned to CAA. She left the agency to join Adventure last year.
“We are thrilled to welcome our longtime friend Bryan 'Dip' to the team as a partner,” said Orton-Cortez, Robins Early and von Goetz. “Dip’s reputation is unmatched and his dedication to his customers aligns perfectly with our mission as we continue to grow Adventure.” We look forward to what we will achieve together.
Diperstein transitions to management after 15 years in the agency industry. He most recently worked in the film department at CAA. Before joining the agency in 2022, he spent over a decade at ICM, working in the art and literary departments.
“Chris, James and Melissa have built a thriving business built on a collaborative and creative environment for artists, and I am excited about the opportunities to further expand our shared vision,” Diperstein said.
Among the ranks of Adventure Media are manager Matt Klasco who also worked at ICM early in his career. Aaliyah Williams, who co-founded the company with von Goetz and James Robins Early, began producing again through her company Just a Rebel while continuing to work with Adventure on a few projects.
Adventure Media clients have recently been nominated for and won Emmys, Golden Globes and WGA Awards.
