On Saturday, August 17, the Damn! It's the Irwins The 26-year-old star shared a touching video on Instagram which featured clips of herself, 3-year-old Grace and her husband, Chandler Powellexploring some natural locations — as well as images of Grace as a baby.
“When our beautiful daughter was born, I decided to take her on a big adventure,” she wrote in the Instagram video. “Since my husband is from Florida and my mother is from Oregon, I want our daughter to experience as much of the American wilderness as possible.”
“My dream is to take her to every national park in the United States before she turns 18,” Bindi continued, showing clips of her daughter playing in nature, standing on a beach with her mother, Terri Irwinand sat on Powell's shoulders. “If you have any advice, please share it. I can't wait to make this dream a reality…”
Many of Bindi's followers and other moms were willing to offer their expertise to travel to the United States to visit all the 63 national parks (although there are over 400 areas in total managed by the National Park Service).
“They do it Junior Ranger Programs “in most national parks,” one Instagram user commented, referring to the program that allows children visiting national parks to do activities and share their experiences with a real park rangerin exchange for a badge and other prizes.
“You could buy her a T-shirt from each park in her size and make them into a quilt to give her when she turns 18 😃 You would see a toddler T-shirt from Yosemite and an adult T-shirt from Mammoth Cave,” another user wrote, sharing their thoughts.
“You need to take a road trip!” another user added. “Several actually. That way you can visit multiple national parks each time.”
Bindi also took a moment to thank her followers for their advice, writing in her own comment, “Thank you so much for your AMAZING advice!! I'm writing this all down. Can't wait 💛.”
Bindi and her husband27, have already made sure Grace is well-traveled for her young age. Last month, Powell shared a series of photos on his Instagram from his trip with Grace to Singapore — the fourth country the toddler has visited so far.
“Grace’s fourth country!! 🎉,” the proud dad wrote alongside some photos of his daughter exploring nature, walking on a suspension bridge and visiting animals at a zoo.
“My parents joined us in Singapore and we spent a week exploring this incredible part of the world. Grace was in her element. I am so grateful for our time together,” he wrote in his caption.

Grace — whose full name is Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, in honor of Bindi's late father, Steve Irwin, died in 2006 — already seems to have a good grasp of the key skills needed to visit America's national parks, including working with animals and hiking.
Last month, Bindi shared a video of a family hike on her Instagram Stories. In the adorable clips, she could be seen climbing a steep slope towards the top of a mountain, with her daughter and husband.
“It’s a really big hike to climb this huge mountain, but Grace did it!” Bindi can be heard cheering Grace on in the clip.
“Strong leg muscles. You can do it, girl!” she added.
