APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – The Transportation Security Administration at Appleton International Airport is preparing for the influx of passengers.
With the increase in the number of people traveling through the airport, TSA officials are urging everyone to be prepared to get through the checkpoint safely and efficiently. They advise arriving at the airport early to give yourself more time to claim your bags and board your flight on time.
“So I really want travelers to get into the mindset that if they're traveling this weekend, anytime through Labor Day, we're going to see higher travel volumes at every airport across the country, including here in Appleton,” said Jessica Mayle, a regional TSA spokeswoman.
Additionally, Appleton TSA is reminding passengers of the importance of obtaining a Real ID-compliant driver's license by the national deadline of May 7, 2025.
