Luxury Escapes is expanding its portfolio two by two.
That's right, to date they have acquired two other major travel brands, solidifying their place as the ultimate travel powerhouse.
Bon Voyage and Scoopon Travel are the latest brands to join Luxury Escapes, which now has nearly three million members and an estimated turnover of $300 million. It’s one of the largest players in online travel in Australia, and we’re thrilled about that.
Adam Schwab, CEO of Luxury Escapes, said the acquisition allows three of the industry's leading online travel brands to increase their buying power, while maintaining their respective brand identities and strong customer service roots.
“This acquisition is a turning point for the industry,” Schwab said.
“We believe that the combined power of our brands, our diverse offering across different market segments and our incredible dedication to customer service create an even clearer alternative to today’s tired and traditional travel agent marketplace.
“We have always respected Bon Voyage and Scoopon Travel and by preserving their strengths and bringing in Luxury Escapes’ travel expertise, we believe we are setting the stage for continued organic growth,” he added.
Luxury Escapes, Bon Voyage and Scoopon Travel have nearly 500,000 traveling clients around the world each year.
And since launching in October 2013, Luxury Escapes has built a membership base of over two million and helped over one million Australians have one of the best holidays in the world.
They have also just opened a regional headquarters in Singapore, with staff operating across four continents.
Not a bad trend to join, if you ask us.
Schwab said it was business as usual for all brands for now.
“Over the coming months, we will be taking a close look at our brand strategy and customer strategy to determine a long-term solution that makes the most sense for all of our current and future customers and partner properties.
“Luxury Escapes offers its high-end hotel and resort partners access to a market hungry for travel, opening up new demand, while offering customers value for money with specially negotiated prices. With Scoopon Travel and Bon Voyage, this will continue,” he said.
“We are delighted that Bon Voyage and Scoopon Travel are joining Luxury Escapes.”
