Christina Estes is releasing her debut novel, “Off the Air.” It’s a crime novel set in Phoenix (and featuring over 15 local businesses and neighborhoods). It stars Jolene Garcia, a competitive local TV reporter who wants to tell important stories in her community. The book is inspired by Estes’ own career. She spent over 20 years reporting in Phoenix and currently works for NPR.
