The 17 Big Ten cities have teamed up to launch a new travel passport designed to help sports fans discover their travel destinations.
To celebrate the addition of three new cities (Los Angeles, Eugene and Seattle), Visit Lincoln and other similar destination organizations have unveiled the new “Big Ten Cities Passport.” It’s a digital passport featuring the top 10 attractions in each of the 17 Big Ten cities.
“As we welcome new members to the Big Ten, we have tremendous opportunities to welcome new visitors to our communities and provide them with new entertainment venues outside of the arenas of competition,” said Jeff Maul, executive director of Visit Lincoln. “The passport showcases a blend of what makes Lincoln, Lincoln: a great place to bring families and enjoy the offerings of a big city while maintaining the feel and hospitality of a small town.”
The free passport is accessible from a mobile device, providing instant access to the most popular things to see and do in each location.
