SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio. (WKRC) – The Great Parks Outdoor Adventure Expo kicks off for its second day in Winton Woods Harbor.
The event has been extended to two days after a record number of participants were recorded for last year's one-day event.
The Expo drew 5,500 people to Winton Woods last year, according to Great Parks.
This year, the Expo is splitting activities into two days: Friday is dedicated to children's activities, while Saturday is dedicated to fun for the whole family.
A 5K and 10K will begin at 9:30 a.m. with outdoor activities including fishing, rock climbing, archery, boating, golf and disc golf throughout the day.
The best part? Most activities are free.
Discounts are offered on boat rentals and food trucks to cool off. Live music will also be on the program for the day.
