HARPURSVILLE NY (WIVT/WBGH) — Animal Adventure is hosting a low sensory morning and Capes & Crowns event this June 8.
The Low Sensory Morning will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. While the Capes & Crown event will follow from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Low Sensory Morning is for those who may have sensory sensitivities or other needs. The park is open only to special guests from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., where it will be open to the public. This is to hopefully create a more relaxing and not too overwhelming experience for those to whom this applies.
Second, the Capes & Crown event encourages people to come dressed in royal attire or dress up as your favorite superhero. Around the park there will be free meet and greets and photo ops with costumed princesses, mascots and hero guests.
Alongside these events, you can also find the usual wide variety of animals, from stunning giraffes to their little reptilian friends.
Regular park hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with last entry available at 4:00 p.m. For both events, no pre-registration is required, although regular rates apply.
