Envelope increased again this week. Melodies of the mire is the next update for open world multiplayer survival game. And don't worry: “Melodies” isn't a meaningless alliteration. New Envelope – The Melodies of the Mire update lets you roam a new biome as a musical bard, if you choose.
Obviously, you want to roam the biome as a musical bard. Who wouldn't? Luckily, you won't even have to do it alone. You can craft instruments, ranging from a lute to a flute to a harp. There are several instruments, allowing you and a few friends to travel the world as your own band of bards. Frankly, allowing players to stop and play a jingle is something every game should try to implement. You can't let hackers Sea of Thieves Have fun, won't you?
Envelope – Melodies of the Mire update brings more to explore
Moving away from the melodies, we should cover the “Mire” part of “Melodies of the Mire”. The Blackmire is an extension of the Revelwoods. This vertically focused biome lets you bounce high in trees using jumping mats. A new type of enemy called Vukah is already waiting in the branches, however, awaiting a fight. The update includes new tree and terrain types, as well as craftable accessories and furniture. If you don't mind having the Vukah as neighbors, the update also lets you build a tree house in the mud. Doesn’t that sound comfortable?
That's not all the update brings. You can also discover a new weapon, the Dual-Wielded Daggers, and a vanity system that allows you to hide certain equipped equipment.
THE Envelope The community has been asking for player-driven quest progression, and they finally have it. Melodies of the Mire includes player and world progression, allowing you to complete quests even if someone on the server has already done so. The change has more than 19,000 votes on the Envelope comments page. I guess many people are going to be happy with the update.
There are more changes to go, so check out the patch notes before you start creating your own group.
