The GoPro Mountain Games in Vail takes place this weekend (June 6-9) and is packed with exciting events.
According to website, the GoPro Mountain Games is “the nation’s most famous adventure sports, arts and music festival.” You can enjoy the festival as a participant or spectator.
The festival includes events such as biking, running, rock climbing, kayaking, rafting, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, yoga, slacklining and much more. There are also activities and events for dogs, including the DockDogs Events.
In Pro Plan DockDogs Outdoor Big Airthe dogs will fly “far and fast in what can only be described as a long jump – doggy style”.

The mountain games will also include live music with the mountain of music concert series. There will be free music sets during the day at Mountain House Gear Town (Vail Village) and The Hangout (Golden Peak) Thursday through Sunday.
There are also plenty of activities for kids, including fly-fishing clinics, stand-up paddleboarding opportunities, slacklining, and a kids' climbing wall. There are events that kids can participate in, but they can also just enjoy the outdoors and watch events or experience a new adventure.
Many sellers will gifts throughout the festival, as well as free activities.
