When we arrived at our luxury cottages at ZANA – A Luxury Escape, we were greeted by warm wood paneling and a detailed personal stone fireplace. ZANA cottages overlook surroundings of well-kept gardens; each with a private space where one can spend relaxing mornings with a cup of coffee or evenings sharing stories by the fire.
Inspired by European architecture, the cottages resemble fairytale wooden houses hidden in an enchanted forest – which, in this case, has the backdrop of the Himalayan mountains. Wood siding, shingle roofs and masonry add to the friendly charm. Between towering trees and canopied seating areas, we also found an outdoor pool perfect for a dip in nature. From the 5,500 square foot lawn to the 4,000 square foot ballroom, the space curated by ZANA – A Luxury Escape extends beyond a vacation spot. It also makes an ideal setup for corporate events and weddings. Combined with easy access to classic Jim Corbett activities like forest safaris and hot air balloons, the resort is a gem to discover. And did I mention that the hospitality of the staff, who took care of anything one might need with a smile on their face, made the stay even more comfortable.
