Rutherford is a regular visitor to Italy and said she is always a fan of returning to some of her favorite places there, including Capri and Umbria. As for the latter, a trip to the region almost guarantees a stay in Murlo Property, a luxury four-bedroom villa set among the lush hills of Italy's picturesque Umbria region. “It’s so beautiful, the food is amazing and they’re dog friendly,” she exclaimed. As for what she's looking to bring home in her suitcase, handmade sandals and local ceramics are two things she'll always make room for.

“I'm really looking forward to coming back to Palm heights in Grand Cayman this year. I spent two weeks there in December and decided to make it an annual trip. From the service to the food to the sunrises/sunsets to *that* now iconic spa, it's a magical place. On vacation there, I opt for very casual, undone beach looks. “We spend time in Paris every summer, but this summer's Olympics make it an especially exciting time. I'm really looking forward to watching basketball and skateboarding with my kids. Personally, I'll avoid touristy places and I will frequent Paris in my usual locale: Lao Tzu for Chinese, Black for the coffee, and the antique dealers of the Carré Rive Gauche. That said, there is no way out of a The Relais de l’Entrecôte lunch (or two) if my kids have a say… I’ll just have to brave the queues. “I'm planning a trip to Greece this year. I've never been there before. I'm looking forward to exploring Athens and some of the islands. I got some good recommendations. I love exploring and learning about a place when I visit, taking advantage of local recommendations I love the beach, but I'm not really one to sit by the beach all day I'm looking forward to traveling. “In October, my husband and I are returning to Big Sur, but this time we're taking the kids. We'll spend one night in Los Angeles, then stop off at the Madonna Inn, which has these amazing themed rooms that I can't wait to show my son and then check out the next day. What I love about Big Sur is the immensity of the landscape. You have the sea, but you also have incredible hills and foliage, so it's not your usual beach setting. I'm probably very excited to visit the Big Sur Bakery. They have the best chia seed parfait. Not to be that granola girl, but… Packing wise, I'll bring 1930s slip dresses, a vintage John Galliano cardigan I found on Vestiaire, my Wales Bonner baseball jacket, Basic bikinis Swim from my friend Jessie Andrews. , and my trusty Miu Miu leather boots, because I feel like they're pretty durable for hiking.”

“I'm excited to come back to Vienna this spring. I've been there twice already and it's such a beautiful city. I love the History Museum of History so I will definitely return. The last time I was there we also went to Spanish Riding School and I took a private tour of the stables to see the stallions up close, and it was amazing. I like Hotel Sacherso I'm going to stay there!
“I've become a pro at packing only a carry-on bag and sometimes even a simple tote! I love traveling light. You never know what the weather will be like when you travel, so I always like to layer a tank top under a cardigan, then bring a large vintage Hermès scarf or something like that that you can easily wrap around you or style in different manners.

“Japan is a dream destination for me this year and I hope to travel there in October. This trip will be my first visit. I am very excited to explore Japanese cuisine.
