HARPURSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Animal Adventure Park and the Preserve is preparing to open its doors to the public this week.
Animal Adventure will reopen on April 3, marking its 12th season of adventure. The park's sister facility, the Reserve, will also return for its third year.
“With two facilities located in one convenient destination, visitors need not travel further than Broome County for an adventure-filled day,” said Jordan Patch, owner of Animal Adventure Park. “We are excited to embark on our next season, which is sure to be full of fun, learning opportunities and memories made!” »
Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of new experiences at the park this season, including a new indoor giraffe feeding, which will provide access to the facility's most famous animals, whatever the weather. The reserve will also be home to a new and improved feeding bridge experience for giraffes.
Additionally, guests will be able to meet several new animal friends. During its off-season, Animal Adventure announced the arrival of more than 20 new offspring, including three new female lion cubs, a miniature zebu, a water buffalo, three red kangaroos and many more.
Animal Adventure is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last entries at 4 p.m.
The Reserve is also open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last entries at 3 p.m.
