Actor and film producer Patrick Warburton surprised guests at the Disney California Adventure as they prepared to board the Soarin' Over California attraction, Disneyland officials sharing Friday.
For more than 20 years, guests at Disney California Adventure and EPCOT at Walt Disney World in Florida were greeted with a pre-recorded message from Warburton explaining some “important safety tips” during the attraction's safety video .
But this time he completed his final security check in person. Disneyland officials shared a Youtube video of Warburton greeting the fans.
“It was super fun surprising the guests today, and it’s great to see the impact this safety introduction has had over the last 23 years and how much people still love it.” It was so great to be the conductor of Soarin’ Over California again,” Warburton said in a statement.
This isn't the actor's first time working with Disney. In addition to his roles on “Seinfeld” and “Family Guy,” Warburton played the character Kronk on Disney's “The Emperor's New School” and the character Grand Macaw on the TV show “Elena of Avalor.” from Disney Junior.
For a limited time, customers can enjoy “Soarin Over California”, the original version of the “Soarin' Around the World” ride at Disney California Adventure during the Food and Wine Festival.
The festival runs until April 22.
