SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – If you donate blood at the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks through April, you could get an Ozarks Adventure Pass.
The $150 voucher provides free admission to four Ozarks attractions. Destinations include the Discovery Center in Springfield, the Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, Beyond the Lens in Branson and the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs.
CBCO is hosting two events this week to honor first responders. The 7th annual Aaron Pearson Blood Drive takes place Wednesday in Springfield, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Unite Springfield blood drive is being held in memory of the victims of a fatal shooting March 15 that killed four people, including Springfield Police Department Officer Christopher Walsh. CBCO will donate $10 to the Ozarks 3-15 Fund Community Foundation for each donor.
