Virginia Beach, Virginia – March 12, 2024 – The Virginia Aquarium Adventure Parkthe region's largest ziplining and rock climbing adventure experience, is excited to announce the dates for its annual “Easter egg hunt in the trees.» from March 23 to April 7, 2023.
In this non-traditional Easter egg hunt, participants search for “eggs” hidden among the trees throughout the treetop trails while climbing through the courses. At the end of their climb, participants receive a special gift.
“Our annual Easter egg hunt in the trees is always a highlight for our guests,” said Darlene Zimble, park manager. “Children and adults alike love finding the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny. And everyone enjoys having fun at the end of their climb!
There is no charge to participate in the “Easter Tree Egg Hunt,” but guests will need to purchase a ticket to climb monadventurepark.com/VBAP. The dates for the “Easter Tree Egg Hunt” are March 23 – April 7 during normal business hours.
The Virginia Aquarium's Adventure Park also released its spring break schedule with extended daily hours from March 23 to April 7. The timetable can be consulted HERE.
About Virginia Aquarium Adventure Park
The Adventure Park's 17 trails include 258 different treetop challenges, including bridges, tightropes, ladders and 33 ziplines. The longest zipline is 315 feet and crosses Owls Creek for spectacular views.
Participants wear harnesses with clips that connect to the trail's safety system, ensuring they are always locked onto the course until the end. The main trails are designed for children ages 5 to adults.
Non-climbing participants are admitted free to share the experience in the field and enjoy the nature trails and picnic tables on the property.
The Virginia Aquarium Adventure Park is open to the general public and is located just minutes from the boardwalk, on acres of forest on the grounds of the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center.
