SEVEN HILLS, Ohio — The holiday season in Seven Hills included the town's annual Christmas parade, followed by a free North Pole adventure at Town Hall.
“Our annual Christmas parade was a festive spectacle, with more than 30 decorated vehicles and countless people walking the streets, sharing the joy of the season with candy and smiles,” said Tony Terry, director of community services. from Seven Hills.
“The excitement was contagious as families gathered, waiting to catch a glimpse of Santa himself.”
Terry added that after the parade, Santa and the Grinch went to City Hall, where they continued the celebrations at the North Pole Adventure.
This event included crafts, holiday treats, an elf playground, and games.
“Seven Hills North Pole Adventure has been a huge success, both in terms of attendance and execution,” said Mayor Anthony D. Biasiotta.
“Our dedicated staff and volunteers transformed the community hall into a magical celebration designed especially for children.
“I am certain that memories that will last a lifetime have been created. I hope this tradition continues for generations to come.
Schnitz ALE Brewery: Parma Ward 2 Councilwoman Deborah A. Lime and Mayor Tim DeGeeter recently presented Schnitz ALE Brewery owner Igor Djurin with the Business of the Month award.
The brewery, which celebrated its third anniversary in November, takes an active role in the community, partnering with nonprofit organizations on special events such as the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce Rib 'N Rock and serves very good food and craft beers.
Brooklyn Christmas Decorating Contest: Residents are encouraged to enter the Brooklyn Holiday Home Decorating Contest and help spread Christmas cheer.
To enter, e-mail photos, name and address before December 18.
Prizes will be awarded.

The next event is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 18) at the Parma Heights branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, 6206 Pearl Road.
