Lubbock vs. America: Dream Vacation Destinations

Boom! Pop quiz: Where would your dream destination be if money was no consideration? Would you take a month-long cruise to the Bahamas? Maybe a summer in Spain? That was the question recently asked in Lubbock, and the responses were slightly surprising.

Best Vacation Spots for Americans

According to loveexploring.comtraveling abroad is incredibly popular in the United States. In fact, in 2023, 46% of Americans had a passport. This represents an increase of 16% compared to 2008.

You can thank the Beach Boys for Aruba being on the list. This small Caribbean island was visited by 946,747 American tourists last year alone.

You may be shocked to know that Delhi, India is also on the list. From its rich history to its wide range of local street foods, this destination definitely won't be boring.

Greece, and specifically Athens, is one that I am SO JEALOUS of. I love Greek history and ancient Greek culture. It's definitely one of my favorites. I am not alone since last year, 1.4 million American tourists visited the country.

The Bahamas is a no-brainer, but did you know Vietnam was also on the list? Rome, Tokyo and Paris are also dream vacation destinations for me.

First place on their listhowever, it was London, England. This DEFINITELY surprised me, but, having had the chance to visit the country myself, I can understand.
