The nature, cultural heritage and local hospitality of Cyprus can be explored during a one or two day weekend in Tillyria organized by the Nicosia Tourist Board on November 30 and December 1.
November 30 includes visits to the Neolithic village of Chirokitia, Petra tou Romiou – where according to mythology Aphrodite emerged from the waves – Pachyammos and Kato Pyrgos, where day-trippers will spend the night.
December 1st will be dedicated to the discovery of Kato Pyrgos through a guided tour highlighting the history, traditions and hidden beauties of the village.
Optional activities include easy to moderate hiking and horseback riding.
