Yes, the next-gen KTM 390 Adventure R has been leaked from its pavilion at EICMA, ahead of its official debut. And the first images of the all-new adventure motorcycle have us dizzy. The motorcycle has an all-new design language that hints at the larger KTM 890 ADV. The front features a large Dakar Rally-style windshield as well as an inverted U-shaped DRL. Then you have the vertically stacked headlights and a large front fender, which complements the 21-inch spoked rim wrapped in knobby rubber. The bike is supported by a steel trellis frame and the rear section appears to be steeply raked, similar to that of a larger KTM.

The KTM 390 Adventure R will have a 21-inch and 18-inch wheel setup with spokes. The motorcycle will also get adjustable suspension with 230mm of travel, which hints at strong off-road capabilities. The seat will be 885 mm high, higher than that of the Royal Enfield Himalayan and Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro. There will also be cornering ABS and traction control, which can be turned off. The engine will have a 6-speed gearbox with quick shift. In terms of features, the motorcycle is likely to come with a color TFT display, with electrical and electronic rider aids such as switchable ABS, switchable traction control and Bluetooth connectivity.
The motor is protected by a solid-looking metal skid plate. What we can't figure out is that the 390 ADV R has some sort of exhaust under the belly, which sits quite close to the ground. Usually adventure bikes have an upswept exhaust, but maybe we could see one on the current production bike.
More details on the next-generation KTM 390 ADV range will be revealed at EICMA 2024.
