The neoclassical municipality of Ermoupolis on the island of Syros is home to the new Argini Hotel, a property built in 1853 for the family of Grigoris Paikos, a leading figure in the Greek revolution. Thus, the hotel's current owners, the local Polykretis family, have honored the property's past, elevating it with modern comfort and contemporary design touches from international brands like Gessi, Flos, Artemide, Panzeri, Tooy ,Astro, Poltrona Woman and Buster + Punch.

Part of The Set Collection and created by family-owned brand Myconian Collection, the recently opened Deos Hotel is perched on a hill above Mykonos Town overlooking the Aegean Sea and the neighboring islands of Delos, Syros and Tinos. Designed by GM Architects, the property blends into its surroundings with a contemporary Cycladic look; its sun-drenched white facades are complemented by lush native landscaping and rustic stone walls made from locally sourced materials. Inside, a warm, minimalist design highlights artisanal craftsmanship through natural textures and bespoke elements.
Each of the 42 rooms opens onto large panoramic terraces with hot tubs or plunge pools—the perfect retreat after a long lunch at Epico, where chef Ilias Maslaris offers dishes like Greek mezze platters or grilled octopus made from of the best local seasonal products. The work of Greek architecture studio Makridis Associates, which took inspiration from the nearby Butterfly Valley, a 600-acre natural park, the understated design, like a calming cocoon, is revealed through layers of natural textures, such as linen and rattan, in earthy tones. mushroom tones.

Following its first opening in Crete three years ago, Numo Hotels & Resorts has launched its highly anticipated second property in Mykonos. Located in the east of the island, on Kalafati Beach, the 27-room property was designed by design studio Hotel IM in collaboration with AmsterdamMykonos-based company What The Studio captured the carefree energy of Mykonos in the 1960s and 1970s. As a result, minimalist Cycladic design, with its elegant curves and arches, serves as a canvas for modern materials like plaster and granite dust and bold elements ranging from striped marble floors to brass accents.
This is enhanced by details such as handcrafted lighting fixtures from Crete and handmade Chamotte tiles by Patricia Urquiola for Mutina, all brought together by touches of vibrant color that draw from the surrounding landscape. A small treatment room offers massages, reflexology and facials using organic ingredients and herbs and, like its sister hotel, Numo Mykonos' all-day restaurant is helmed by chef Nikos Kourkoutas , which serves a Mediterranean menu sprinkled with Mykonian influences. – all with a view of the island's rugged landscape and the blue of the Aegean Sea.

Located at the foot of Thira Mountain, on the southeast coast of Santorini, Sandblu has finally opened its doors. A five-minute walk from the black volcanic sand of Kamari Beach, the resort's 51 rooms and suites, each with balconies and some with their own swimming pool, all offer stunning views of the Aegean Sea. new Yorkcompany based Rockwell Group brought the outdoors into clean, bright interiors with a simple, clean design featuring natural wood in a neutral palette of white and sand tones with hints of blue.

Carved into the photo-perfect cliffs of Oia, Santorini, a former stone mine overlooking Ammoudi Bay, the resort has found new life as Santo Mine, a stellar all-suite hotel. The latest to join the growing portfolio of local group Santo Collection, the property was designed by Cretan firm Straight Line Architecture, which encompassed the natural landscape of the region as a whole. Thus, the simple and soft lines and curves of Cycladic architecture have been dressed with a palette of natural stones, ceramics and wood inspired by the volcanic soil of the region.
Each of the 37 suites has its own private terrace, some with individual swimming pools or jacuzzis and all offering dazzling views of the Aegean Sea. If you're not lounging by the pool or treating yourself to a spa treatment, activities range from yachting and kayaking to helicopter tours – all the perfect way to whet your appetite at the collection of restaurants of the hotel.
