If you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber but don't know what to play next, then this open-world zombie adventure game might just be for you.
First released in 2013, DayZ is a multiplayer survival game developed by Bohemia Interactive.
Discover a cinematic of DayZ below!
The standalone game is based on the mod of the same name for Weapon 2 and sees players placed in the fictional post-Soviet Republic of Chernarus.
Players must fight a mysterious plague that has turned most of the population into “infected.” Besides fighting them, they must also scavenge supplies and cooperate with other players in order to survive the pandemic.
DayZ sold over three million copies during its Early Access period and has remained a well-received zombie survival game ever since.
Now it is free For Xbox Game Pass subscribers and you may be interested to learn that its map is more than six times larger than that found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
With Skyrim offering one of the most packed cards of all time, it's hard to believe that DayZ It greatly overshadows it, but that just shows the scope of this multiplayer action title.
“The dense 163 km2 map allows players to experience the hardcore survival hit in a completely new environment,” reads the Xbox synopsis.
“Players can put their survival skills to the test as they venture into the unknown land of Livonia and see how long they can last in this deadlier world than ever before.”
If you're unsure whether or not you should re-subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, DayZ would cost £45.99 to buy direct.
So it’s obvious.
Not only that, but Xbox has recently added two Call of Duty titles to the Xbox Game Pass library with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 arrived on October 25.
