Sandy Spring Adventure Park was voted the DMV's Best Amusement Park and Rock Climbing Site for the third year in a row by readers of Washington Parent Magazine. The park was founded in 2010 and attracts around 100,000 annual visitors.

Sandy Spring Adventure Park has won the “Best Amusement Park” and “Best Climbing Place” categories in Washington Parent's “Parents Picks” competition for 3 years in a row.
In spring 2024, Sandy Spring Adventure Park finished 2nd overall in USA Today's “10Best” Aerial Adventure Park competition. Sandy Spring was voted first overall in the continental United States.
